Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Utilities and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.69%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Kojamo (HE:KOJAMO), which rose 1.85% or 0.19 points to trade at 10.48 at the close. Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:METSB) added 1.75% or 0.11 points to end at 6.40 and Elisa Oyj (HE:ELISA) was up 1.26% or 0.60 points to 48.22 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Fortum Oyj (HE:FORTUM), which lost 5.00% or 0.74 points to trade at 14.06 in late trade. Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE) declined 4.88% or 0.85 points to end at 16.58 and Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:TYRES) shed 2.21% or 0.20 points to 8.66.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 95 to 71 and 23 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for December delivery was up 3.68% or 2.64 to $74.34 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 3.99% or 2.72 to hit $70.89 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.97% or 25.85 to trade at $2,685.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.60% to 1.11, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.11% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.46% at 100.98.
