Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Technology, Industrials and Consumer Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 0.65% to hit a new 3-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV), which rose 0.98% or 0.110 points to trade at 11.350 at the close. Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) added 0.10% or 0.04 points to end at 41.63 and UPM-Kymmene Oyj (HE:UPM) was down 0.04% or 0.01 points to 22.52 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V), which lost 2.63% or 0.150 points to trade at 5.550 in late trade. Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) declined 1.91% or 0.73 points to end at 37.46 and Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) shed 1.49% or 0.080 points to 5.280.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 112 to 28 and 13 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for October delivery was down 0.23% or 0.12 to $51.78 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in September fell 0.23% or 0.11 to hit $48.48 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.19% or 2.50 to trade at $1292.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.35% to 1.1813, while EUR/GBP rose 0.12% to 0.9083.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.29% at 93.03.
