Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Consumer Goods, Technology and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.31%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which rose 0.68% or 0.0550 points to trade at 8.1500 at the close. Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE) added 0.58% or 0.20 points to end at 34.82 and Sampo Oyj A (HE:SAMPO) was up 0.20% or 0.09 points to 44.59 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V), which lost 1.84% or 0.105 points to trade at 5.605 in late trade. Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV) declined 1.21% or 0.140 points to end at 11.390 and Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) shed 1.14% or 0.26 points to 22.58.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 74 to 59 and 22 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for October delivery was down 1.80% or 0.95 to $51.77 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in October fell 1.77% or 0.86 to hit $47.80 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.25% or 3.21 to trade at $1294.81 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.42% to 1.1810, while EUR/GBP rose 0.22% to 0.9153.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.33% at 93.05.
