Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Financials and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.22%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV), which rose 1.11% or 0.13 points to trade at 11.42 at the close. UPM-Kymmene Oyj (HE:UPM) added 1.05% or 0.32 points to end at 30.87 and Kemira Oyj (HE:KEMIRA) was up 0.67% or 0.14 points to 21.18 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE), which lost 1.63% or 0.33 points to trade at 19.89 in late trade. Nordea Bank Abp (HE:NDAFI) declined 1.42% or 0.15 points to end at 10.43 and Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:WRT1V) shed 1.04% or 0.20 points to 18.54.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 89 to 78 and 20 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for October delivery was down 0.54% or 0.42 to $77.24 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in October fell 0.53% or 0.39 to hit $73.27 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.19% or 4.80 to trade at $2,546.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.19% to 1.11, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.08% to 0.85.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.30% at 101.43.
