Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Technology and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.09%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which rose 4.87% or 0.2620 points to trade at 5.6420 at the close. Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) added 3.27% or 0.83 points to end at 26.23 and UPM-Kymmene Oyj (HE:UPM) was up 3.20% or 0.95 points to 30.63 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE), which lost 5.18% or 3.62 points to trade at 66.28 in late trade. YIT Oyj (HE:YIT) declined 4.39% or 0.24 points to end at 5.33 and Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) shed 2.75% or 0.137 points to 4.841.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 92 to 57 and 13 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for July delivery was down 0.11% or 0.08 to $73.05 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in June rose 0.28% or 0.19 to hit $67.44 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.08% or 1.00 to trade at $1305.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.32% to 1.1955, while EUR/GBP fell 0.20% to 0.8790.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 92.52.
