Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Utilities, Technology and Telecoms sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.04%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV), which rose 0.69% or 0.32 points to trade at 46.61 at the close. KONE Oyj (HE:KNEBV) added 0.65% or 0.30 points to end at 46.22 and Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE) was up 0.43% or 0.09 points to 19.92 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Kojamo (HE:KOJAMO), which lost 1.69% or 0.16 points to trade at 9.03 in late trade. Mandatum Oyj (HE:MANTA) declined 1.39% or 0.06 points to end at 4.27 and Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) shed 1.24% or 0.75 points to 59.95.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 97 to 70 and 22 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for October delivery was down 1.47% or 1.19 to $79.85 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in September fell 1.68% or 1.31 to hit $76.85 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.53% or 38.20 to trade at $2,530.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.24% to 1.10, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.21% to 0.85.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.25% at 102.56.
