Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Technology, Healthcare and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 0.02%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Valmt (HE:VALMT), which rose 2.85% or 0.46 points to trade at 16.58 at the close. UPM-Kymmene Oyj (HE:UPM) added 2.04% or 0.51 points to end at 25.50 and Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV) was up 0.70% or 0.090 points to 13.000 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V), which lost 1.64% or 0.115 points to trade at 6.915 in late trade. Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) declined 1.58% or 0.62 points to end at 38.66 and Metso Oyj (HE:METSO) shed 1.40% or 0.43 points to 30.18.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 86 to 51 and 16 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for December delivery was up 1.36% or 0.78 to $58.15 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 0.92% or 0.48 to hit $52.38 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.28% or 3.65 to trade at $1277.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.13% to 1.1764, while EUR/GBP rose 0.70% to 0.8964.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 93.81.
