Investing.com – Finland equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Utilities, Basic Materials and Healthcare sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 added 0.71%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V), which rose 4.26% or 0.270 points to trade at 6.610 at the close. Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV) added 2.89% or 1.42 points to end at 50.50 and Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:WRT1V) was up 1.90% or 1.10 points to 59.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Telia Company AB (HE:TELIA1), which lost 1.54% or 0.062 points to trade at 3.966 in late trade. Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) declined 0.71% or 0.16 points to end at 22.24 and Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:NRE1V) shed 0.62% or 0.23 points to 37.12.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 75 to 57 and 20 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for November delivery was down 0.43% or 0.24 to $55.38 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in November fell 0.44% or 0.22 to hit $50.22 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.06% or 14.10 to trade at $1311.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.08% to 1.1930, while EUR/GBP rose 0.67% to 0.8850.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.27% at 91.90.
