Investing.com – Finland equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Consumer Services and Industrials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 gained 0.70%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA), which rose 4.73% or 2.70 points to trade at 59.75 at the close. Kojamo (HE:KOJAMO) added 3.33% or 0.34 points to end at 10.55 and Kemira Oyj (HE:KEMIRA) was up 2.89% or 0.60 points to 21.34 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Kesko Oyj (HE:KESKOB), which lost 2.30% or 0.42 points to trade at 17.86 in late trade. Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) declined 1.70% or 0.80 points to end at 46.30 and Qt Group Oyj (HE:QTCOM) shed 1.35% or 1.20 points to 87.95.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 113 to 58 and 17 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for November delivery was up 0.63% or 0.45 to $72.42 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in October rose 0.65% or 0.45 to hit $69.42 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.16% or 29.95 to trade at $2,610.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.09% to 1.11, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.02% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.33% at 101.02.
