Investing.com – Finland equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Consumer Services, Healthcare and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 rose 0.34%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:TYRES), which rose 1.31% or 0.11 points to trade at 8.49 at the close. Kesko Oyj (HE:KESKOB) added 1.28% or 0.24 points to end at 18.60 and Nordea Bank Abp (HE:NDAFI) was up 1.25% or 0.13 points to 10.56 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Kojamo (HE:KOJAMO), which lost 1.30% or 0.13 points to trade at 9.89 in late trade. UPM-Kymmene Oyj (HE:UPM) declined 0.96% or 0.28 points to end at 29.00 and Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV) shed 0.92% or 0.10 points to 10.76.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 93 to 81 and 15 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for November delivery was up 0.45% or 0.32 to $71.38 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in October rose 0.81% or 0.55 to hit $68.22 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.17% or 4.30 to trade at $2,528.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.37% to 1.10, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.03% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.39% at 101.54.
