Investing.com – Finland equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Consumer Services and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 gained 0.10%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE), which rose 2.06% or 0.34 points to trade at 16.81 at the close. Nordea Bank Abp (HE:NDAFI) added 0.97% or 0.10 points to end at 10.45 and Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) was up 0.82% or 0.55 points to 67.60 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV), which lost 3.18% or 1.56 points to trade at 47.46 in late trade. Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:TYRES) declined 2.38% or 0.21 points to end at 8.46 and Kojamo (HE:KOJAMO) shed 2.10% or 0.22 points to 10.26.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 98 to 59 and 31 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for December delivery was up 0.18% or 0.13 to $73.69 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 0.20% or 0.14 to hit $69.97 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.70% or 18.90 to trade at $2,671.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.15% to 1.11, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.06% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.36% at 101.29.
