Investing.com – Finland equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Consumer Services, Utilities and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 rose 0.07%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Qt Group Oyj (HE:QTCOM), which rose 3.27% or 2.90 points to trade at 91.45 at the close. Fortum Oyj (HE:FORTUM) added 1.21% or 0.17 points to end at 14.24 and Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) was up 0.70% or 0.03 points to 3.51 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE), which lost 1.54% or 0.28 points to trade at 18.20 in late trade. Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) declined 1.47% or 0.90 points to end at 60.25 and Kojamo (HE:KOJAMO) shed 1.44% or 0.14 points to 9.57.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 83 to 75 and 29 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for October delivery was up 1.96% or 1.56 to $81.22 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in September rose 2.43% or 1.87 to hit $78.71 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.20% or 29.65 to trade at $2,503.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.11% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.05% to 0.86.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 103.00.
