Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Goods and Chemicals sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.90%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CO:GN), which rose 3.13% or 3.8 points to trade at 125.4 at the close. Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) added 1.11% or 0.65 points to end at 59.35 and William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) was up 0.74% or 1.0 points to 135.6 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which lost 4.69% or 42.0 points to trade at 854.0 in late trade. TDC A/S (CO:TDC) declined 1.52% or 0.54 points to end at 34.95 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) shed 1.43% or 7.5 points to 517.5.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 76 to 67 and 16 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 2.63% or 1.16 to $43.03 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 2.30% or 1.06 to hit $45.03 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.25% or 3.30 to trade at $1328.20 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.06% to 6.7735, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4396.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.04% at 97.37.
