Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Healthcare Equipment & Services, Energy and Banking sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 1.14%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were DNO International ASA (OL:DNO), which rose 6.87% or 0.40 points to trade at 6.14 at the close. Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd (OL:RCLo) added 4.37% or 30.0 points to end at 717.0 and Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) was up 3.45% or 0.90 points to 27.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT), which lost 7.50% or 0.47 points to trade at 5.80 in late trade. Renewable Energy Corporation ASA (OL:REC) declined 7.20% or 0.10 points to end at 1.23 and Akastor ASA (OL:AKAS) shed 7.10% or 0.6 points to 8.1.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 112 to 68 and 3 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was down 5.80% or 1.95 to $31.67 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 4.53% or 1.63 to hit $34.36 a barrel, while the April Gold contract rose 0.91% or 10.20 to trade at $1126.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.90% to 9.4864, while USD/NOK rose 0.34% to 8.7105.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.45% at 99.15.
