Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 2.06%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which rose 1.99% or 210.00 points to trade at 10,770.00 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) added 1.93% or 200.00 points to end at 10,580.00 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was up 1.56% or 16.00 points to 1,041.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which lost 7.76% or 12.80 points to trade at 152.30 in late trade. Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) declined 2.80% or 25.70 points to end at 892.90 and Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) shed 1.44% or 3.80 points to 259.60.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 75 to 47 and 29 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 2.02% or 1.55 to $78.39 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.54% or 1.23 to hit $80.89 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.95% or 23.50 to trade at $2,496.90 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.18% to 6.82, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 102.91.
