Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Healthcare, Technology and Personal & Household Goods sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 1.51%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK), which rose 0.20% or 1.00 points to trade at 510.00 at the close. Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NSISb) fell 0.59% or 2.40 points to end at 407.70 and Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) was down 0.66% or 1.00 points to 151.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which lost 2.67% or 2.90 points to trade at 104.00 in late trade. Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA) declined 2.45% or 18.00 points to end at 715.50 and Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED) shed 1.85% or 6.10 points to 324.20.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 90 to 48 and 18 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.58% or 0.41 to $71.01 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.37% or 0.27 to hit $74.06 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.83% or 21.79 to trade at $2,610.11 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.41% to 7.18, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.27% at 108.08.
