Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Healthcare, Oil & Gas and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 13.21% to hit a new 52-week low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which rose 1.78% or 4.60 points to trade at 263.40 at the close. Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) added 0.87% or 11.00 points to end at 1,274.50 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) was up 0.86% or 6.80 points to 797.20 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb), which lost 20.72% or 154.00 points to trade at 589.20 in late trade. Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA) declined 3.77% or 28.50 points to end at 728.00 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) shed 2.56% or 5.20 points to 195.90.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 89 to 48 and 17 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.81% or 1.28 to $69.30 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.15% or 0.11 to hit $72.77 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 1.37% or 35.81 to trade at $2,643.91 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.54% to 7.16, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.54% at 107.57.
