Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Healthcare and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 1.25%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which rose 0.98% or 3.5 points to trade at 361.3 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) added 0.41% or 40 points to end at 9720 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) was up 0.35% or 35 points to 10160 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE), which lost 3.04% or 7.6 points to trade at 242.5 in late trade. Genmab (CO:GEN) declined 2.42% or 30.5 points to end at 1230.0 and Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) shed 1.88% or 6.2 points to 323.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 78 to 47 and 17 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was down 1.39% or 0.89 to $63.02 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 1.11% or 0.75 to hit $66.54 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 1.25% or 16.60 to trade at $1316.20 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.68% to 6.0856, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4459.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.58% at 90.29.
