Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 1.10%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA), which rose 0.43% or 4.00 points to trade at 928.50 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) fell 0.05% or 5.00 points to end at 10,885.00 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was down 0.28% or 3.00 points to 1,054.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which lost 6.44% or 10.85 points to trade at 157.60 in late trade. Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED) declined 5.50% or 22.80 points to end at 391.40 and Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) shed 2.47% or 13.50 points to 533.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 91 to 41 and 19 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.27% or 0.22 to $80.80 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.22% or 0.19 to hit $84.84 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.76% or 18.30 to trade at $2,439.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was unchanged 0.04% to 6.84, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 103.81.
