Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Chemicals and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.95%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which rose 1.06% or 4.1 points to trade at 392.4 at the close. Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) added 0.92% or 3.30 points to end at 362.80 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) was up 0.31% or 2.2 points to 703.2 in late trade.
Biggest losers included AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb), which lost 2.09% or 225 points to trade at 10520 in late trade. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 1.96% or 200 points to end at 9990 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) shed 1.88% or 8.1 points to 422.2.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 72 to 48 and 16 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.34% or 0.20 to $59.09 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.03% or 0.02 to hit $62.57 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.27% or 3.60 to trade at $1330.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.49% to 6.0293, while EUR/DKK rose 0.04% to 7.4507.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.50% at 89.56.
