Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.87%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG), which rose 4.05% or 5.80 points to trade at 148.90 at the close. Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) added 2.85% or 15.50 points to end at 560.00 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was up 2.54% or 290.00 points to 11,690.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which lost 3.76% or 6.85 points to trade at 175.20 in late trade. Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) declined 2.14% or 7.00 points to end at 319.40 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) shed 1.80% or 33.00 points to 1,799.50.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 70 to 63 and 15 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.08% or 0.84 to $78.89 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.98% or 0.81 to hit $83.43 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.93% or 21.95 to trade at $2,327.15 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.18% to 6.96, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.06% at 105.10.
