Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Industrials, Chemicals and Personal & Household Goods sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.87%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which rose 4.05% or 16.1 points to trade at 413.6 at the close. Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) added 2.49% or 8.70 points to end at 358.70 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) was unchanged 0.00% or 0.0 points to 770.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb), which lost 3.29% or 370 points to trade at 10860 in late trade. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 3.26% or 350 points to end at 10380 and Genmab (CO:GEN) shed 3.08% or 35.0 points to 1101.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 96 to 24 and 24 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.80% or 1.18 to $64.38 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 1.18% or 0.82 to hit $68.38 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.13% or 1.80 to trade at $1338.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.19% to 5.9995, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4427.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.18% at 89.01.
