Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Industrials and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.81% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were ISS A/S (CO:ISS), which rose 1.41% or 3.10 points to trade at 222.70 at the close. Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) added 1.27% or 8.0 points to end at 639.0 and Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) was up 1.01% or 3.80 points to 380.80 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Genmab (CO:GEN), which lost 2.00% or 19.6 points to trade at 962.0 in late trade. DSV (CO:DSV) declined 1.92% or 10.4 points to end at 530.0 and Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) shed 1.46% or 4.3 points to 290.4.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 73 to 45 and 19 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 1.70% or 1.10 to $65.83 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 2.18% or 1.64 to hit $77.00 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.02% or 0.30 to trade at $1301.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.33% to 6.3034, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4482.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.27% at 93.36.
