Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Financials, Chemicals and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.51%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Nets A/S (CO:NETS), which rose 0.59% or 0.70 points to trade at 120.00 at the close. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) added 0.58% or 5.0 points to end at 873.5 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was up 0.30% or 1.4 points to 471.8 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which lost 2.49% or 8.4 points to trade at 328.9 in late trade. Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG) declined 1.99% or 5.30 points to end at 260.70 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) shed 1.56% or 190 points to 11980.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 78 to 42 and 20 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was down 2.87% or 1.55 to $52.44 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 2.82% or 1.61 to hit $55.49 a barrel, while the February Gold contract rose 0.81% or 9.45 to trade at $1182.85 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.26% to 7.0363, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.4340.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.18% at 101.99.
