Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Healthcare, Real Estate and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.40%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which rose 3.59% or 6.60 points to trade at 190.60 at the close. Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED) added 3.51% or 14.00 points to end at 412.80 and Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) was up 2.04% or 3.10 points to 155.20 in late trade.
Biggest losers included AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which lost 4.49% or 530.00 points to trade at 11,285.00 in late trade. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) declined 4.23% or 490.00 points to end at 11,100.00 and NKT Holding (CSE:NKT) shed 3.86% or 24.50 points to 611.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 74 to 63 and 16 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.55% or 0.45 to $82.55 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.46% or 0.39 to hit $85.47 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 2.04% or 48.45 to trade at $2,428.15 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.33% to 6.86, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.61% at 104.08.
