Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Technology, Chemicals and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.31%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA), which rose 2.89% or 23.50 points to trade at 837.50 at the close. Genmab (CSE:GMAB) added 1.22% or 19.00 points to end at 1,572.50 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was up 1.20% or 2.40 points to 201.80 in late trade.
Biggest losers included AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which lost 1.81% or 190.00 points to trade at 10,335.00 in late trade. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) declined 1.67% or 170.00 points to end at 10,020.00 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) shed 1.46% or 1.90 points to 128.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 75 to 55 and 21 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.35% or 0.97 to $70.77 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.34% or 1.02 to hit $75.02 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.21% or 33.30 to trade at $2,726.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.20% to 6.92, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.34% at 104.27.
