Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Chemicals, Oil & Gas and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.26%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE), which rose 0.99% or 2.4 points to trade at 245.2 at the close. TDC A/S (CO:TDC) added 0.85% or 0.34 points to end at 40.41 and Genmab (CO:GEN) was up 0.35% or 4.0 points to 1136.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which lost 1.38% or 7.4 points to trade at 529.0 in late trade. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) declined 1.14% or 4.6 points to end at 397.5 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) shed 1.01% or 110 points to 10730.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 62 to 55 and 20 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.92% or 0.61 to $65.53 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 1.40% or 0.98 to hit $69.17 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.93% or 12.60 to trade at $1339.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.52% to 6.0213, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4423.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.51% at 89.32.
