Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Goods and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.17%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb), which rose 3.84% or 450 points to trade at 12180 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) added 3.27% or 370 points to end at 11680 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) was up 1.22% or 4.1 points to 340.1 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which lost 3.59% or 25.5 points to trade at 684.5 in late trade. Genmab (CO:GEN) declined 3.28% or 46.0 points to end at 1357.0 and William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) shed 1.01% or 1.7 points to 167.1.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 61 to 54 and 22 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 1.18% or 0.56 to $47.89 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.14% or 0.57 to hit $50.79 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.36% or 4.35 to trade at $1223.25 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.03% to 6.8472, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4409.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 99.53.
