Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Technology and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.12%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb), which rose 4.10% or 430 points to trade at 10930 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) added 3.85% or 390 points to end at 10520 and Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) was up 3.34% or 11.50 points to 355.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb), which lost 4.10% or 14.2 points to trade at 332.0 in late trade. GN Store Nord (CO:GN) declined 3.77% or 7.8 points to end at 199.0 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) shed 2.39% or 7.6 points to 310.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 63 to 55 and 24 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.86% or 1.08 to $56.91 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 1.83% or 1.16 to hit $62.08 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.87% or 11.22 to trade at $1283.68 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.17% to 6.2752, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4427.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 93.10.
