Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Financials and Chemicals sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.05%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (COP:GN), which rose 1.19% or 1.7 points to trade at 144.4 at the close. Coloplast A/S (COP:COLOb) added 0.97% or 4.5 points to end at 469.9 and A.P. Moller - Maersk A (COP:MAERSKa) was up 0.69% or 80 points to 11640 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Tryg A/S (COP:TRYG), which lost 0.70% or 1.0 points to trade at 141.6 in late trade. Novozymes B (COP:NZYMb) declined 0.69% or 2.4 points to end at 345.8 and Jyske Bank A/S (COP:JYSK) shed 0.56% or 1.9 points to 337.2.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 77 to 75 and 8 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.30% or 0.68 to $52.88 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.77% or 0.45 to hit $58.59 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.12% or 1.40 to trade at $1154.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.08% to 6.7803, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4627.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.09% at 96.85.
