Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Chemicals, Financials and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.04%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which rose 0.61% or 12.00 points to trade at 1,967.00 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) added 0.42% or 3.80 points to end at 915.80 and Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED) was up 0.10% or 0.40 points to 410.80 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK), which lost 3.55% or 20.00 points to trade at 543.00 in late trade. NKT Holding (CSE:NKT) declined 3.22% or 20.00 points to end at 600.50 and Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) shed 2.95% or 90.00 points to 2,958.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 86 to 44 and 18 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.91% or 0.71 to $77.20 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.66% or 0.53 to hit $80.31 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.74% or 18.40 to trade at $2,491.40 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.39% to 6.92, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.31% at 104.18.
