Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Oil & Gas and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 1.42%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (COP:PNDORA), which rose 4.08% or 27.0 points to trade at 689.5 at the close. Danske Bank A/S (COP:DANSKE) added 3.53% or 6.6 points to end at 193.8 and Genmab (COP:GEN) was up 2.72% or 14.0 points to 528.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (COP:CHRH), which lost 0.62% or 2.1 points to trade at 339.0 in late trade. FLSmidth & Co. (COP:FLS) declined 0.47% or 1.4 points to end at 293.4 and A.P. Moller - Maersk A (COP:MAERSKa) shed 0.45% or 60 points to 13330.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 91 to 71 and 3 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.99% or 0.57 to $57.89 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.26% or 0.17 to hit $63.62 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.76% or 9.20 to trade at $1193.90 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.49% to 6.9379, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4620.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.42% at 98.03.
