Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Chemicals, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.09%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which rose 1.60% or 6.7 points to trade at 425.9 at the close. Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) added 1.30% or 3.4 points to end at 264.7 and GN Store Nord (CO:GN) was up 1.00% or 1.2 points to 121.4 in late trade.
Biggest losers included FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which lost 1.77% or 4.7 points to trade at 260.9 in late trade. A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) declined 1.30% or 110 points to end at 8365 and A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) shed 1.04% or 85 points to 8055.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 87 to 57 and 14 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.65% or 0.77 to $45.88 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 1.66% or 0.79 to hit $46.82 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.05% or 0.60 to trade at $1328.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.30% to 6.7215, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4390.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.11% at 96.59.
