Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Healthcare, Consumer Goods and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 3.02% to hit a new all time high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV), which rose 4.75% or 50.00 points to trade at 1,103.00 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) added 3.96% or 37.10 points to end at 973.30 and Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) was up 3.41% or 4.50 points to 136.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED), which lost 3.90% or 16.20 points to trade at 398.80 in late trade. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) declined 0.34% or 0.65 points to end at 191.10 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) shed 0.32% or 3.50 points to 1,094.50.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 86 to 54 and 22 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 1.70% or 1.26 to $75.33 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 1.57% or 1.23 to hit $79.64 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.78% or 18.45 to trade at $2,393.95 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.15% to 6.85, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.05% at 104.17.
