Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Healthcare, Chemicals and Consumer Goods sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.95% to hit a new all time high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 2.53% or 32.0 points to trade at 1297.0 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) added 2.26% or 12.5 points to end at 566.0 and Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) was up 2.07% or 7.1 points to 349.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG), which lost 2.48% or 9.10 points to trade at 357.40 in late trade. Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) declined 2.01% or 7.2 points to end at 351.9 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) shed 1.84% or 4.5 points to 240.4.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 69 to 49 and 20 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.96% or 1.03 to $53.67 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.45% or 0.86 to hit $60.16 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.19% or 2.39 to trade at $1271.99 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.55% to 6.4231, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4409.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.39% at 94.92.
