Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Financials and Industrials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.88% to hit a new all time high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV (COP:DSV), which rose 2.84% or 6.9 points to trade at 249.9 at the close. Jyske Bank A/S (COP:JYSK) added 1.86% or 6.7 points to end at 366.7 and William Demant Holding (COP:WDH) was up 1.74% or 9.0 points to 525.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included TDC A/S (COP:TDC), which lost 0.10% or 0.05 points to trade at 51.80 in late trade. ISS A/S (COP:ISS) added 0.08% or 0.20 points to end at 238.00 and Genmab (COP:GEN) gained 0.23% or 1.5 points to 652.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 109 to 48 and 4 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.68% or 0.77 to $44.97 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 1.57% or 0.79 to hit $49.20 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.56% or 6.10 to trade at $1084.60 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.12% to 6.8654, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4618.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.17% at 98.21.
