Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Chemicals, Technology and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.88%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CO:GN), which rose 12.17% or 30.6 points to trade at 282.0 at the close. Genmab (CO:GEN) added 2.05% or 19.8 points to end at 987.8 and Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) was up 2.04% or 7.50 points to 374.90 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which lost 5.86% or 30.4 points to trade at 488.6 in late trade. Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) added 0.09% or 0.6 points to end at 638.6 and ISS A/S (CO:ISS) gained 0.14% or 0.30 points to 222.40.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 78 to 48 and 14 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.05% or 0.03 to $66.67 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.86% or 0.66 to hit $76.08 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.46% or 6.00 to trade at $1307.30 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 1.43% to 6.4089, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4506.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 1.07% at 94.56.
