Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Healthcare and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.66% to hit a new 1-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 2.13% or 22.0 points to trade at 1053.0 at the close. FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) added 1.60% or 5.6 points to end at 356.3 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) was up 1.46% or 9.5 points to 659.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED), which lost 1.22% or 4.20 points to trade at 340.50 in late trade. DSV (CO:DSV) declined 0.61% or 3.0 points to end at 485.2 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) shed 0.46% or 1.4 points to 301.8.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 61 to 52 and 23 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.36% or 0.21 to $58.30 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.26% or 0.17 to hit $64.73 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.12% or 1.50 to trade at $1271.10 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.00% to 6.2709, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.4444.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 92.86.
