Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Consumer Goods and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.62%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which rose 4.00% or 4.20 points to trade at 107.90 at the close. Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) added 2.52% or 66.00 points to end at 2,688.00 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was up 2.45% or 280.00 points to 11,725.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb), which lost 1.74% or 15.80 points to trade at 891.80 in late trade. Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NSISb) declined 1.09% or 4.50 points to end at 409.90 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) shed 0.95% or 7.00 points to 729.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 70 to 59 and 19 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.15% or 0.10 to $68.62 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.06% or 0.04 to hit $72.26 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.03% or 0.76 to trade at $2,665.56 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.16% to 7.07, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 106.18.
