Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Healthcare, Technology and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.56% to hit a new 3-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb), which rose 1.94% or 4.7 points to trade at 246.4 at the close. TDC A/S (CO:TDC) added 1.07% or 0.40 points to end at 37.65 and Nets A/S (CO:NETS) was up 0.92% or 1.10 points to 120.80 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which lost 0.84% or 3.2 points to trade at 378.2 in late trade. DSV (CO:DSV) declined 0.83% or 2.9 points to end at 347.1 and ISS A/S (CO:ISS) shed 0.63% or 1.60 points to 253.10.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 63 to 59 and 16 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.21% or 0.11 to $53.22 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.23% or 0.13 to hit $55.62 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.51% or 6.25 to trade at $1239.35 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.53% to 6.9763, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4340.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.46% at 100.61.
