Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Consumer Services, Personal & Household Goods and Consumer Goods sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.51%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which rose 2.27% or 8.2 points to trade at 368.8 at the close. Nets A/S (CO:NETS) added 2.26% or 2.80 points to end at 126.80 and Genmab (CO:GEN) was up 1.10% or 15.0 points to 1377.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG), which lost 1.02% or 2.60 points to trade at 252.00 in late trade. TDC A/S (CO:TDC) declined 0.72% or 0.26 points to end at 35.84 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) shed 0.50% or 2.5 points to 501.5.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 86 to 41 and 11 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.62% or 0.33 to $53.87 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.69% or 0.39 to hit $56.95 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.13% or 1.55 to trade at $1220.95 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.21% to 6.8980, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4375.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.19% at 99.64.
