Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.45% to hit a new all time high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which rose 2.73% or 15.0 points to trade at 565.0 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) added 1.89% or 10.0 points to end at 540.0 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) was up 1.37% or 5.1 points to 376.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE), which lost 2.25% or 5.7 points to trade at 247.4 in late trade. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) declined 1.28% or 150 points to end at 11610 and DSV (CO:DSV) shed 1.13% or 5.5 points to 479.5.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 70 to 50 and 16 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.79% or 0.40 to $50.02 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.38% or 0.21 to hit $55.79 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.15% or 1.92 to trade at $1275.98 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.15% to 6.3283, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.4429.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.13% at 93.30.
