Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Chemicals, Personal & Household Goods and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.45%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CO:GN), which rose 3.34% or 6.9 points to trade at 213.7 at the close. FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) added 1.61% or 6.5 points to end at 410.0 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) was up 1.50% or 9.5 points to 643.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA), which lost 3.00% or 2.50 points to trade at 80.75 in late trade. TDC A/S (CO:TDC) declined 0.44% or 0.16 points to end at 36.06 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) shed 0.21% or 0.5 points to 236.8.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 66 to 45 and 24 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.10% or 0.05 to $49.11 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.22% or 0.12 to hit $54.32 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.00% or 13.37 to trade at $1352.37 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.79% to 6.1936, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4405.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.70% at 91.56.
