Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Financials and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.44%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk B (COP:NOVOb), which rose 1.13% or 4.4 points to trade at 393.0 at the close. Nordea Bank AB (COP:NDA) added 1.03% or 0.85 points to end at 83.70 and Genmab (COP:GEN) was up 1.02% or 6.5 points to 646.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included GN Store Nord (COP:GN), which lost 3.74% or 5.4 points to trade at 139.0 in late trade. A.P. Moller - Maersk A (COP:MAERSKa) declined 1.06% or 120 points to end at 11150 and A.P. Moller - Maersk B (COP:MAERSKb) shed 1.04% or 120 points to 11400.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 82 to 77 and 2 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.58% or 0.75 to $48.14 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.42% or 0.23 to hit $53.70 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.18% or 2.00 to trade at $1094.90 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.33% to 6.7520, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.4618.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.17% at 96.79.
