Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Healthcare sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.22%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb), which rose 3.02% or 10.0 points to trade at 340.9 at the close. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) added 1.04% or 6.0 points to end at 585.0 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) was up 0.95% or 110 points to 11700 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which lost 3.50% or 12.7 points to trade at 350.1 in late trade. Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG) declined 1.56% or 5.80 points to end at 364.90 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) shed 0.96% or 7.0 points to 720.5.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 59 to 55 and 21 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.51% or 0.27 to $52.20 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.19% or 0.11 to hit $58.22 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.15% or 1.94 to trade at $1280.24 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.42% to 6.3027, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4428.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.32% at 93.53.
