Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Financials and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.14%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG), which rose 2.40% or 3.60 points to trade at 153.60 at the close. Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) added 2.31% or 13.00 points to end at 576.50 and Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NSISb) was up 1.51% or 6.40 points to 431.20 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which lost 2.90% or 52.50 points to trade at 1,757.00 in late trade. DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) declined 1.99% or 21.50 points to end at 1,060.50 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) shed 1.95% or 230.00 points to 11,540.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 79 to 62 and 17 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.15% or 0.12 to $80.83 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.18% or 0.15 to hit $85.48 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.23% or 5.50 to trade at $2,341.40 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was unchanged 0.05% to 6.94, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 104.83.
