Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Industrials, Healthcare and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.14%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which rose 1.92% or 11.8 points to trade at 626.0 at the close. DSV (CO:DSV) added 1.87% or 9.6 points to end at 521.6 and Genmab (CO:GEN) was up 1.82% or 17.6 points to 984.6 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which lost 4.25% or 19.9 points to trade at 448.7 in late trade. Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) declined 1.25% or 8.0 points to end at 630.6 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) shed 0.46% or 1.8 points to 393.6.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 63 to 59 and 18 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 3.30% or 2.33 to $72.86 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 2.05% or 1.56 to hit $77.70 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.27% or 3.40 to trade at $1256.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.56% to 6.4329, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4506.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.50% at 94.83.
