Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Personal & Household Goods and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.02%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which rose 3.13% or 330.00 points to trade at 10,860.00 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) added 3.09% or 320.00 points to end at 10,670.00 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was up 2.77% or 5.10 points to 187.10 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA), which lost 4.42% or 42.00 points to trade at 909.00 in late trade. Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) declined 1.39% or 10.80 points to end at 765.00 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) shed 0.45% or 4.10 points to 914.90.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 82 to 47 and 21 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.42% or 0.32 to $75.22 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.56% or 0.45 to hit $79.23 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.17% or 4.40 to trade at $2,542.20 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.31% to 6.74, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.47% at 101.83.
