Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Real Estate and Industrials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.01%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were NKT Holding (CSE:NKT), which rose 1.69% or 10.50 points to trade at 630.50 at the close. Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) added 1.45% or 42.00 points to end at 2,934.00 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) was up 0.39% or 3.60 points to 922.10 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which lost 2.12% or 3.50 points to trade at 159.20 in late trade. Genmab (CSE:GMAB) declined 1.31% or 23.50 points to end at 1,776.50 and DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) shed 1.22% or 17.00 points to 1,371.50.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 75 to 55 and 20 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.48% or 1.00 to $68.75 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.31% or 0.94 to hit $72.55 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.10% or 2.70 to trade at $2,608.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.43% to 6.71, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.37% at 100.42.
