Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Technology and Industrials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.00%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which rose 3.17% or 320.00 points to trade at 10,425.00 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) added 2.50% or 245.00 points to end at 10,040.00 and Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) was up 1.63% or 50.00 points to 3,114.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which lost 2.91% or 4.00 points to trade at 132.00 in late trade. GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) declined 2.04% or 2.90 points to end at 137.20 and Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) shed 1.32% or 7.00 points to 525.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 69 to 57 and 26 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 2.44% or 1.84 to $73.72 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 2.33% or 1.84 to hit $77.20 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.43% or 11.60 to trade at $2,664.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.22% to 6.84, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.27% at 102.96.
